Description

Hunt, a carver from Alert Bay, carved a totem pole for Liverpool’s International Garden Festival in 1984. Made from red cedar, the 12 foot pole was a “combination of family crests – the crests of my own family,” Hunt explained. It was unveiled at the Canada Garden on 29th June, 1984 and is currently on display at Liverpool’s World Museum.
