Description

AIM members, including Clyde Bellecourt (Ojibwe) and Floyd Red Crow Westerman (Dakota), and students from their Heart of the Earth Survival School in Minneapolis travelled to Northern Ireland for a ten day visit in January/ February 1985. They participated in the Bloody Sunday March in Derry, Northern Ireland, paid their respects to the Republican hunger strikers at Milltown Cemetery, and also visited an Irish language school in Belfast with a view to planning cultural exchange programs.
