Description
Wrestler. Grew up in Kahnawake, speaking Mohawk. Was “˜discovered’ by a compatriot, Don Eagle, learnt to wrestle and competed in the USA before travelling to England, where he “played Mohawk” in the ring, with a headdress and Mohawk hair”.people came to see the show more than the wrestling. From 1978 -98 he sat on the Mohawk Nation Council, became an elder activist and also acted in Taking Lives (2004), Black Robe (1991) and Musketeers Forever (1998). Father of the British fashion designer Wayne Hemingway (left when Wayne was 3).
