Centre for Architecture and Sustainable Environment

The Kent School of Architecture and Planning, based at the University’s Canterbury campus, offers programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. The programmes complement the University’s courses in Urban Studies and Multimedia Technology and Design as well as those offered by the School of Arts.

Kent has one of the best graduate employability records of any UK university and studying with the Kent School of Architecture will equip you for a successful career in architecture. In addition to your professional skills, we will also develop a wide range of transferable skills in areas such as communication, team-working, problem-solving and computer literacy.

The University of Kent is committed to architecture in the region and the unique opportunity presented by regeneration activities in Kent will allow the School to become a focus for experimentation and conjecture, building strong links with regional business, local communities and built environment professionals.

Students studying at the Kent School of Architecture experience a wide range of learning environments, both formal and informal, experienced as an individual and in groups.
