Summary
The secondment workplan aimed to provide a combination of strategic knowledge of community mapping processes and techniques and skills in the digitization of data for mapping purposes and data visualization. The workplan was structured around the work Mapping for Change, which had been subcontracted by UCL to carry out on the EPSRC funded project ‘Street mobility and accessibility: developing tools for overcoming older people’s barriers to walking’.
