Description
The 2019 Edinburgh International Festival included performances of eminent Cree playwright Tomson Highway’s Songs in the Key of Cree. According to listings, Songs in the Key of Cree was presented by Indigenous Contemporary Scene, and entailed a compilation of his work and a cabaret with Tomson himself at the piano accompanied by extraordinary Peruvian-Canadian singer Patricia Cano and jazz saxophonist Marcus Ali.
