Tara Beagan is the co-founder, with Andy Moro (Euro/Cree) of Article 11, an activist Theatre group founded as a not-for-profit in 2013. Indigenous Contemporary Scene brought Beagan’s new one-woman play Deer Woman to the 2019 Edinburgh International Festival. About a Blackfoot woman who seeks vengeance for the murder of her younger sister, Deer Woman raises awareness of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives.
