Description
Like Paul Eagle Star before him, Long Wolf was buried at Brompton Cemetery tragically never made it back to South Dakota alive. He died in London of pneumonia (or pleurisy) at the age of 59 and, although his wife was with him, he was buried in London rather than being transported home. In 1997, after much bureaucratic effort, he was finally taken home by his descendents.
