Description
Os-ke-non-ton, a Mohawk actor and singer came to London to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in “Hiawatha”. While in London he could be seen doing such things as demonstrating canoe paddling in a pond in Regent’s Park. Oskenonton was Mohawk who played the Haudenosaunee Hiawatha in the otherwise Anishinaabe setting of Longfellow’s poem. While canoeing in Regent’s Park he could be seen in his Sioux stagewear!
