Description
Ojibwe group put on display by unscrupulous showman “Mr. Baby” at the Panopticon, Leicester Square. Later abandoned homeless in London after show proved unprofitable – return passage to Canada paid for by City of London poor fund. Group led by Pe-to-e-kie-sie, with nine or ten companions.
