Description
Member of the Army Nurse Corps, from 1942, after training in at the Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on a scholarship from the Daughters of the American Revolution. Assigned to one of the first medical units shipped to the Pacific. Transferred to the 231st Station Hospital and worked there as a nurse until January 1946, when she returned with her unit to the USA.
