Description
A descendent of Revolution-era Mohawk leader, Joseph Brant, Brant-Sero toured England, offering orations in the Mohawk language alongside lectures to learned societies, such as the Imperial Institution (whose beautiful buildings were demolished in stages from 1957 onwards). Brant-Sero was one of the few early visitors who eventually settled in London, but he continued advocacy work on behalf of the “loyal” Mohawk.
