Description
From the Kiawah Creek town of Cofitachequi in South Carolina, these sons of royalty travelled to England on the Carolina via Barbados on the recommendation of Dr Henry Woodward. Vaughan reports they spent over a year in Britain, but their travels are largely undocumented. They were, however, received at Court – by Charles II this time – and treated well. They returned home on the William and Mary in 1672, this time via Bermuda.
