Description
Brant worked as a waiter in Hamilton, ON, before enlisting in the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry in September 1939. He sailed from Halifax at the end of July 1940 and arrived in Gourock, Scotland, in August. After time spent training in England, Brant was sent to the front. He went missing during the Dieppe Raid on August 19th, 1942, and was declared presumed killed in action.
