Description
The St. James’s Chronicle of 10-12 August, 1762, according to Vaughan, reports the imminent arrival on the Roebuck of a Catawba chief. Whether he arrived or not we do not know. For want of further confirmation we have placed a map point at the Customs House on Lower Thames Street.
