Description

If you google Indigenous people and the Olympic Games, you will be likely struck by the number of articles that point to exploitation by Games committees, the upholding of colonial structures, and many other such matters. In spite of this excoriating and necessary critique, many Indigenous athletes also deserve celebration for their endeavours. Among the many Indigenous participants in the 2012 London Games, were these four Native North Americans.
