Researcher-in-Residence roles have been created to facilitate successful research capacity building.
The roles involve:
- Long term placements to maximise impact, with a long induction period
- Co-location and honorary status for RiRs at host organisations
- Time allocated to RiRs to strengthen relationships in host organisation by participating in range of activities, e.g. engagement activities, workshops and PPI meetings
- Strong peer support and supervision.
