The Kent Research Partnership (KRP) is proud to announce that we have been honoured with the runner-up Best Team Award at the 2nd Annual Kent County Council Adult Social Care and Health Awards 2024!
These awards celebrate the dedication, excellence, and innovation of colleagues across the Adult Social Care and Health directorate at KCC. They recognise remarkable achievements that demonstrate collaboration, co-production, and meaningful engagement across services and with partners.
Why We Were Recognised
The judges commended KRP for its exceptional teamwork and collaborative approach across organisations, as well as the integral involvement of people with lived experience throughout the partnership. They highlighted that research and innovation are essential to the future of social care and to ensuring people receive the support they need – a mission that sits at the heart of KRP’s work.
Recognising the Contributors
This achievement would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of many:

- Exceptional leadership – Ann-Marie and Gina’s expertise, vision, and compassion have provided the partnership with unparalleled guidance.
- Dedicated lived experience group – Led by John and Gina, with Amanda’s expert advice, ensuring that the voices of those supported by adult social care remain at the centre of everything we do.
- Core team – Ferhana, Nick, Ina, Steve, Alison, Theresa – whose dedication and expertise have been vital in making this success possible.
- Cross-partnership evaluation team – Sarah and Jolie – who help us make sure that we learn from and share with our 5 sister partnerships
A True Team Effort
This recognition also reflects the essential contributions of our partners – ARC Kent, Surrey & Sussex, CRN Kent, Surrey & Sussex, UK Home Care Association, Kent Integrated Care Alliance, and the National Care Forum. Their support has been integral to KRP’s success.
Celebrating Together
The runner-up Best Team Award is a tribute to the incredible people who make up the KRP family and the wider community of partners. It exemplifies what can be achieved when we come together with a shared vision of improving outcomes in adult social care and health.
Congratulations to everyone involved – this award belongs to all of us!
