Josef Hrdlicka

Josef has completed a 6-month research visit, as part of his studies at Brno University of Technology (in the Czech Republic). During his time at the Applied Optics Group (AOG), under the supervision of Dr Manuel Marques and Prof Adrian Podoleanu, Josef worked on the multiple input state, polarisation-sensitive optical coherence tomography (PSOCT) system installed at the AOG, evaluating its performance with respect to environmental parameters. He has also devised an imaging system to track samples whilst imaged by the high-resolution imaging system.
