The Applied Optics Group organises regular public engagement and outreach events, helping to share our love of optics and invite wider involvement in our research. Recent events have included the ‘Day of Photonics’ and a pop-up exhibition at the Beaney Museum in Canterbury. Group members are also involved with the School of Physical Sciences Community Engagement.
