On 21 July 2025, Prof Adrian Podoleanu, Professor of Biomedical Optics and Head of Applied Optics Group, delivered a plenary talk at the Sustainable Photonics Conference in Hangzhou, Beihang University, China.
His presentation was entitled “From Unconventional Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) to Ultra Fast Tunable Sources for OCT”.
Prof Adrian Podoleanu, together with Sir Prof David Payne from University of Southampton, unveiled an inauguration plaque for the Sustainable Photonics Research Center (SPRC) at Beihang University.
