Professor Stephen Bullivant

Stephen is Professor of Theology and the Sociology of Religion, and Director of the Benedict XVI Centre for Religion and Society at St Mary’s University, Twickenham. He has held visiting appointments at Oxford, University College London, and Manchester.
Among many publications in the sociology of nonreligiosity, he is co-author of The Oxford Dictionary of Atheism (OUP, 2016; with Lois Lee) and co-editor of The Oxford Handbook of Atheism (OUP, 2013; with Michael Ruse).
