Members of the Physics of Quantum Materials research group headed for London last week to attend a meeting on “Physics Challenges for Machine Learning and Network Science“. This fascinating workshop, organised by
Ginestra Bianconi (QMUL) and Tiago P. Peixoto (Bath) as part of the
EPSRC NetworkPlus in Emergence and Physics Far From Equilibrium, sat at the interface between the science of complex networks, machine learning and quantum computing. Pur group contributed two talka (by Gunnar Moller and Jorge Quintanilla). The full programme can be accessed here.
