On Tuesday 20th July the Web and Learning Development team have made several updates to research.kent providing new features to site editors, as well as fixing several issues.
Password protected content
- Reinstated the ability to have a password protected page using the ‘Visibility’ option within the ‘Publish’ box.
Feature panel
- Rebuilt the editorial panel to match the new markup, and included in all colour and styling options. Also fixed the mobile layout of the editorial panel.

Gallery panel
- Completely rebuilt this panel from scratch. It now fully integrates Flickr photosets, and has new vertical and horizontal layouts in pure CSS.

KAR panel
- Updated the presentation on people profiles to exclude pagination and separate by publication type. This now matches how it is displayed on kent.ac.uk

- Fixed a bug involving a blank role which resulted in no people cards loading, and updated the description to clip and add elipsis if over 80 characters
