Rosa Vass is a Research Assistant who joined CHSS in 2018. She contributes to a number of ongoing and proposed research projects in the field of young people, substance use and mental health. As well as being involved in a number of public health projects.
Current projects include, RISKIT-CJS a randomized controlled trial evaluating a multi-component intervention to reduce substance use and risk-behaviour in adolescents engaged with the criminal justice system. And a NIHR Policy Research Unit in Health and Social Care Systems and Commissioning commissioned study, to evaluate the implementation of financial reward for general practices for carrying out Quality Improvement (QI) activity.
Her research interests include health inequality, especially for those in contact with the criminal justice system. Areas of interest include substance use, mental health provision and probation practice.
