Joint Community of Practice – 3 December 2024

3 December 2024   |    12.00 – 1:30  |    Zoom

Kent County Council, the University of Kent and partners are leading a project that aims to help build capacity and develop a positive culture of research.

Communities of Practice are a key aspect of this work as they enable people from all backgrounds to come together to discuss their shared area of interest, learn from each other and existing research, and develop tangible research projects about the topic which will have a real impact on practice.

This December we will be bringing both Communities of Practice together for a “Joint CoP”.

This meeting will focus on the topic of mental health research and opportunities.

We are pleased to welcome Tim Woodhouse, Kent and Medway Suicide Prevention programme Manager based in Kent County Council’s Public Health Team, who will be talking about Suicide and Domestic Abuse, and

Dr Laura Tucker, University of York/Curiosity Partnership – expertise in mental health SW workforce.

We hope you are able to join us.
