Joint Community of Practice – 29 April 2025

29 April 2025   |    12.00 – 1:00  |    Zoom

Kent County Council, the University of Kent and partners are leading a project that aims to help build capacity and develop a positive culture of research.

Communities of Practice are a key aspect of this work as they enable people from all backgrounds to come together to discuss their shared area of interest, learn from each other and existing research, and develop tangible research projects about the topic which will have a real impact on practice.

This April 2025 we will be bringing both Communities of Practice together for a “Joint CoP”.

For this special session, we are delighted to welcome back speakers who have shared insights on research projects and grant applications at previous COP meetings. They will provide brief updates on their work, reflect on applying for grants and conducting research in social care. We will also discuss the reality in research world and explore potential future research topics.

Our speakers include: Serena Vicario, Georgina Walton, Lilly Trapp, Stewart Morrison, Wenjing Zhang, and more.

We hope you can join us for this reflective and forward-looking discussion.

Best wishes
