25 September 2024 | 12.30 – 14:00 | Zoom
Kent County Council, the University of Kent and partners are leading a project that aims to help build capacity and develop a positive culture of research.
Communities of Practice are a key aspect of this work as they enable people from all backgrounds to come together to discuss their shared area of interest, learn from each other and existing research, and develop tangible research projects about the topic which will have a real impact on practice.
This September we will be bringing both Communities of Practice together for a “Joint CoP”.
This meeting will feature a presentation on experiences and lessons from another social care research capacity-building partnership in the East of England:
Social Care Research in Practice Teams (SCRiPT): Enhancing research capacity in adult social care and social work in the East of England
Dr Jennifer Lynch, Reader in Social Care, Technology and Knowledge Mobilisation, University of Hertfordshire
We will also provide a working update about the new research bid around digital care discussed at our previous COP meetings.
Evaluating Kent County Council’s Technology Enhanced Lives Service
Lilly Trapp, Research Facilitator, Innovation and Partnerships, Adult Social Care & Health, Kent County Council
We hope you are able to join us.
Who should attend:
