There were gifts, speeches, a stunning cake and emotional tributes when CHSS staff gathered to say farewell to Professor Stephen Peckham. Stephen steps down as Director after eleven years which have seen CHSS thrive and grow into an internationally renowned Centre of Excellence with an ever expanding reach into new areas of health policy, social care and public health at local, regional and global level.
Stephen will retain strong working links with CHSS, not least in his continuing role as Director of the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration, Kent Surrey and Sussex.
