Dr. Arvind Madan will be giving this years’ CHSS Open Lecture as part of the University’s Distinguished Visitor Lecture series.
Dr. Madan has been the Director of Primary Care and Deputy National Medical Director for NHS England since 2015, providing clinical leadership for the transformation of this area. Having been a General Practitioner for 20 years, Dr Madan is also a partner of the Hurley Group, a large multi-site general practice and urgent care provider.
Dr. Madan is a forerunner of using new technologies and redesigned initiatives to improve outcomes across care boundaries, whilst also maintaining membership on the Kings Fund Advisory Board and his own Community Interest Company, Healthy Minds, a peer mediation service for children in 30 London schools.
