The Kent Research Partnership is one of six capacity building, social care partnerships funded by the NIHR Health Services and Delivery (HS&DR) programme in England. We have been funded for 4 years (June 2021-2025) to improve care quality by investing in and valuing the social care workforce, and developing a culture of research and evidence-based practice and innovation.
You are invited to join us for our first Celebration of Social Care Research Event to help us celebrate our progress over the first half of the project and to look forward to the next two years! You might be someone who draws on social care and support, someone working in adult social care, a researcher, commissioner, friend or family of someone who – anyone with an interest in adult social care research is welcome!
We will circulate the agenda nearer the time, but it will include:
- inspiring speakers talking about the importance of developing research evidence in adult social care and support for implementing evidence into practice
- panelists sharing some of the research already going on in Kent, including research led by those working in social care and those who draw on social care support
- opportunities to get to know others from across the adult social care sector who are interested in research
- activities to help us shape the next two years of the Kent Research Partnership
- and most importantly – a lovely lunch!
This event is open to all and free to register (but there will be a £25 fee for any registered delegates who don’t attend).
The venue is fully accessible with free parking and plenty of quiet spaces.
