NIHR E-Learning for Clinicians Programme: Introduction to research in public mental health

To develop an e-learning module on public mental health to be hosted on NIHR Learn for specialist trainees in psychiatry, public health and general practice

Project Aims:

1. Develop appetite, readiness and skills for research delivery
2. Build capacity of practitioners to shape research priorities, generate research ideas, collaborate with academics and participate in research projects
3. Attract new researchers to the future clinical and public health academic workforce
4. Create champions for building and implementing the evidence base in public mental health
5. Build cross-disciplinary links to tackle public mental health problems.
