Bien-être: promoting well-being and healthy lifestyle for communities through food-focused cultural learning
The aim of this project is to create cross border and local learning networks comprised of key actors involved in the health and education of children and the well-being of communities in order to learn from different cultures, foster mutual understanding of different methods of service delivery and to explore opportunities for reducing health inequalities in schools and local communities.
By using food as a focus, this project stimulates interest in healthier lifestyles through professional, social and cultural exchanges. It seeks to increase community involvement in local projects, further community development and improve the lives of the citizen, enhancing human and social capital. The Project also increases access for all children, their families and the wider community to a range of cultural activities focused on the enjoyment of healthy eating.
