A health and lifestyle survey of adults.
This is the 3rd survey of health and lifestyles that CHSS has carried out in Brighton and Hove. A questionnaire will be sent to a random sample of 6000 adults to measure trends in self-reported health, quality of life, including local environment, diet, physical activity, smoking and alcohol consumption. New in 2012 are questions on sexual health, self-harm and non-prescribed drug use. Survey results will be used by the NHS and City Council in annual public health reports and adapting local services to match residents’ needs.
