Dr Alejandro Rabinovich, one of our co-investigators in Argentina, has published a new book entitled Anatomía del panico La batalla de Huaqui, o la derrota de la Revolución (1811). Working from unpublished archival materials, Rabinovich reconstructs in great detail the occurrences of the 1811 Battle of Hauqui. The book explores the causes and consequences of the panic that the Battle of Hauqui produced in the period of High Peru and the reverberations it had for the revolutionary project. The book is published by Sudamericana.
