Interested in taking part?

Am I eligible to take part?

We are looking for adults with and without a diagnosis of Autism.

To be eligible to take part you must meet the following criteria:

  1. Native English speaker
  2. Normal to corrected to normal vision (e.g. glasses or contact lens)
  3. Not colour blind
  4. Over 18 years of age

What does taking part involve?

You will complete a number of different short computer tasks. For example, one task involves completing a visual discrimination task (e.g., choosing which of a series of lines is the longest). Another task involves viewing a series of pictures and making judgements about them. In addition to these computer tasks you will also complete a series of questionnaires and also some cognitive tasks.

How long will it take?

The study is split between two sessions of approximately 90 minutes each, which take place on different days.

How much will I be paid?

  1. £7.50 per hour for taking part
  2. Several tasks provide the chance to win extra money (average winnings are £20-30)
  3. Travel costs covered
  4. Refreshments provided on the day!
