The SBRC focuses Bone and Dental tissue research through four streams:

1. Biological Anthropology (human and primate evolution, growth and development, diet, health, and behaviour).
2. At the interface between Clinical Science and Biological Anthropology including hard tissue pathology.
3. The biological aspects of Forensic Science.
4. A broad comparative perspective, including the study of non-primate animals.
