Research with non-disabled men has shown that cognitive behaviour therapy is the most successful treatment for men with harmful sexual behaviour. This kind of treatment is widely available in prisons, probation and health services for men without disabilities.
But boys and men with learning disabilities and/or autism often arent offered these treatments. So we have developed some programmes especially for these boys and men with harmful sexual behaviour. SOTSEC-ID is for adult men with learning disabilities and/or autism. Keep Safe is for adolescents/young people with learning disabilities and/or autism.
