PDRA position now open to join the EPSRC New Horizons project on "New Platforms for Topological Superconductors"
Thanks to the prestigious funding award of a EPSRC New Horizons grant to Dr Gunnar Möller, we are delighted to announce a corresponding opening for a postdoctoral position to support our development of New Platforms for Topological Superconductors.
Do you have a background in many-body physics, topological insulators and superconductors, synthetic gauge fields or gravitational condensed matter equivalents?
We offer an opportunity for a motivated researcher to join this newly launched project under EPSRC grant EP/V048678/1, which will involve theoretical and numerical modelling of synthetic quantum systems designed to manipulate superconducting order parameters in a targeted fashion, building on techniques developed for the generation of artificial gauge fields and gravitational condensed matter equivalents.
