International Conference: EU-Russia Relations: Which Way Forward?
2-3 February 2015
The Royal Flemish Academy, Rue Ducale 1, 1000 – Brussels
This conference is organised in the framework of a Jean Monnet Multilateral Research Group on EU-Russia relations, formed by four partner universities: University of Kent, Carleton University, St. Petersburg State University and Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
The conference is the first major event of its kind since the unfolding of the crisis over Ukraine. It brings high-level diplomats (including Russian Ambassador Chizhov and EEAS Director Wiegand) and researchers together to reflect on EU-Russia relations in an objective-minded and academic setting. Apart from current political developments, the four key themes are energy, minority policies, regional integration and the role of multilateralism.
