Research projects in Digital Media have focused on arts-based community projects where we explore the potential of digital technologies to create new artistic and interactive experiences. We investigate the nature of the ‘organic process’ of artistic collaboration as well as reflect on pedagogic implications of such processes on student learning.

We have worked with local museums and art galleries (e.g. Turner Contemporary, Powell-Cotton Museum, Beaney Institute of Knowledge) as well as national and international arts agencies and companies (Wayne McGregor & Random Dance, PanOptikum).
