Biometrics is currently one of the principal and most vibrant areas of research in EDA, for which we have a recognised national and international reputation.
Our interests in biometrics – the identification of individuals from the detection and evaluation of their physiological or behavioural characteristics – are very wide, and encompass all aspects of biometric processing from the algorithmic development individual biometric modalities to systems integration issues and usage, reliability and countermeasures to attack, privacy, to wider questions about system testing, standardisation and ethics.
We are able to undertake a range of project work including:
- Biometric Testing and Evaluation
- Implementation Consultancy
- Training
- Algorithmic Development
