About

Jaraspim completed her Master’s degree at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), studying functions of a hypothetical protein of Baculovirus using RNA interference (RNAi). Since she joined BIOTEC in 2007, Jaraspim has developed stable cell lines expressing influenza virus receptor to maximize virus vaccine production yield, generated influenza virus expressing red fluorescence protein for anti-influenza screening micro-neutralization assay development, and studied mechanism of intertypic interference between types A and B influenza viruses. Moving into GCRF project, she is currently generating PCV2d using reverse genetics and developing micro-neutralization to investigate the efficiency of PCV2d vaccine.
