Dr Pongrama Ramasoota

About

Dr Pongrama Ramasoota is Director of the Center of Excellence in Antibody Research (CEAR) in the Faculty of Tropical Medicine at Mahidol University. Dr Ramasoota completed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (Kasetsart University) and Master of Public Health degrees (Mahidol University) before obtaining an MSc. and Ph.D in Bacteriology at the Swedish University of Agricultural Science, Uppsala, Sweden. He then returned to Thailand as a Lecturer at Mahidol University in Bangkok. Dr Ramasoota now holds the position of Associate Professor at Mahidol University and Collaborative Professor at Osaka University, Japan. Current research projects in Dr Ramasoota’s lab include: Improving activities of Therapeutic human monoclonal antibodies against Dengue virus and the Development of DNA vaccine expressing Neutralizing human monoclonal antibodies against dengue virus.
