Professor Alisher Faizullaev, D.Sc., Ph.D., is a scholar, writer and former Ambassador. He was a Fulbright Scholar at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University and the Institute for the Study of Diplomacy, School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University (2011-2012), as well as a Visiting Scholar at McGill University (2014), Cambridge University (2005) and Western Washington University (1992). Previously he also served as the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the United Kingdom (1999-2003), European Union (1996-98), NATO (1997-98) and Benelux countries (1995-98).

Professor Faizullaev is the author of numerous books and articles on social and behavioral sciences. His articles have appeared in “Review of International Studies”, “Diplomacy and Statecraft”, “Negotiation Journal”, “The Hague Journal of Diplomacy”, “Journal of International Relations and Development” and other peer reviewed journals. He is a member of the international advisory board of “The Hague Journal of Diplomacy” and the editorial board of “Cambridge Journal of Eurasian Studies”. His research and teaching interests include diplomacy, international negotiation and political psychology in IR.
