Theresa Gannon is Professor in Forensic Psychology and Director of the Centre of Research and Education in Forensic Psychology at the University of Kent, UK. She is also an HCPC registered Consultant Forensic Psychologist and works for the Forensic Care Group (Kent Medway NHS Social Care Partnership Trust) providing treatment for individuals who have set fires. Theresa has authored over 100 book chapters and journal articles in forensic psychology focusing on sexual offending, firesetting, and treatment and rehabilitation.

Theresa is the developer of the FIP-MO/FIPP. She has a wealth of experience of working with firesetters in both the prison service and mental health services.
