Climate change is a global issue with local impacts. Making sense of the issues and potential mitigation measures can be difficult. To address this, we have created a single online portal to help you find cutting-edge research on the transition to net-zero, climate change and environmental sustainability more broadly.
Universities in our region can transform our understanding of the climate challenges we face and facilitate the move towards more positive environmental futures. Collectively, our research covers energy systems and technological innovation, agriculture and ecology, cities and buildings, transport and industry, policy and finance, resource efficiency and cultural aspects of climate change.
To make it easier to find the expertise you need, we have developed a database of researchers working on these issues. They can help you to move your business towards net-zero, develop environmental policies in government, or enhance the learning opportunities in your school.
The database covers members of the 3i Network of universities, comprising University of Lille, Ghent University, KU Leuven and University of Kent.
The project has been funded by the Straits Committee, whose membership includes Kent County Council, Département du Nord, Province of West Flanders and Province of East Flanders.
