The Department of Marketing, Entrepreneurship and International Business (MEIB) brings together experts in the areas of three key management disciplines promoting interdisciplinary teaching and research as well as cross interdisciplinary knowledge exchange.
Our MEIB staff offers a world class educational experience to our students preparing them to become the drivers of innovation, change and performance in an interconnected business environment advancing sustainable development and growth.
Our accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programmes by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Export and International Trade are explicitly designed to equip our students with the necessary human and social capital enabling them to develop leading and sustainable careers in entrepreneurial or organisational paths.
The department has a strong history of successful doctoral supervision in the areas of marketing, entrepreneurship and international business, with a number of our students publishing in top-ranked journals during their studies or soon after graduation, followed by a successful academic or industrial career. Several our research students have also received awards and distinctions at major conferences.
Our department hosts a number of world-leading research academics and collaborates with a wide range of key international institutions and academics to promote cross border research and teaching collaboration and impact.
