Currently I am a Co-I in ASCRU2 projects: Care providers, prices and effect on workforce and care outcomes and Understanding hospital discharges into social care and their consequences, and part of REAL Supply research unit exploring questions related to supply of health and social care in the long-term.

Previously I have been a Co-I in ASCRU project about Risk factors for social care use in old age, PRUComm Community Services project which investigated how community services affect hospital use.

I have also taken part in projects: ESCHRU – substitution between formal and informal care; QORU – relationship between levels of obesity and need for social care in old age; New Models of Care – effect of urgent and emergency care vanguard on delayed transfers of care (DTOC) and ASCOT outcomes; DTOC – effect of social care on delayed transfers of care; EXCEPT – European project that explored the impact of youth unemployment, and Better Care Fund (BCF) evaluation.

More generally I have an interest in Health and Social Care Policy Evaluation; Health Economics; Applied Econometrics; Social Capital studies; Economics and Culture; Labour Economics.
