CONSPIRACY_FX conference on the consequences of conspiracy theories

We were extremely happy to host our ERC-funded CONSPIRACY_FX conference on the consequences of conspiracy theories between Friday 28th and Saturday 29th June 2024. Read more about it below.

During the conference, we were delighted to welcome more than 70 guests to the University of Kent, including the leading researchers in the field. The conference included a series of presentations, blitz talks and posters on a wide variety of topics such as political action, war, vaccination, and the climate. Contributors represented a range of disciplines including psychology, philosophy, sociology, and political science, which added to the richness of the discussions. The event really did showcase the breadth of conspiracy theory research across these fields.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everybody who made the trip to Canterbury to take part in the conference. We were overwhelmed by the interest in the conference and impressed by the quality of all the presentations. We enjoyed catching up with old friends, and making new ones!

It was a pleasure to host such an engaging and positive group of individuals and we also had a lot of fun!
